You may think it's just a myth, but no, the Greek gods, Olympus, heroes.
They are all real, and Percy Jackson lives in this world as a demigod,
half god half mortal. Growing up in New York, Percy Jackson never really fit in,
every school he went to, there was always that unexpected accident or pursuer.
Until he was eleven he never knew that all of this had one explanation.
Being the son of Sally Jackson and Poseidon, Percy Jackson was a demigod
and not just an ordinary one, but a dangerous one. The big three gods, Zeus,
Poseidon and Hades made an agreement after World War II to not have children
with mortals. But Zeus and Poseidon broke this agreement but Percy Jackson is
the only one alive until now.
There is one place where these demigods can live mostly in peace and in
safety from Greek monsters, they train and fight and go on quests to save
the world, and this place in Camp Half-Blood. But Percy Jackson is now a
victim, not from monsters but from the Olympus gods themselves. He was
claimed of stealing Zeus’ master Lightning Bolt. Percy goes on a quest to prove
this wrong and save his mother with Annabeth Chase, Athena’s daughter and
Grover Underwood, a satyr. During his quest there are traitors, misunderstanding
and near death experiences. But in the end Percy Jackson sets everything right
and has a clean slate with the gods, but not for long.
